The Ecoscience science center  and the Tarangire Lion Research Initiative are collaborating in providing public education and awareness on the status and conservation of lion population  in the Maasai steppe of Northern Tanzania. The information also describe the major threats that Tarangire lions are facing that make their future uncertain. In addition, the Science center provides the public with the opportunity to learn about the challenges for long-term conservation of lions in the human-dominated system.   Therefore, the science center provide the people interested in large carnivores conservation and learning about their behavior and life history the opportunity to explore more on these cats. The experienced lion researcher will be available to provide in depth explanation and respond to questions regarding lion conservations issues in the area.
