General Information

 
The views from Ecoscience are spectacular. Our natural landmarks are, from East to West, looking South, Mounts Hanang and Kwaraha, both volcanoes, Tarangire Hill, Radilen Hill, Loikisale Hill and Mounts Monduli and Meru volcanoes.
 
On a rare occasion even snow-capped Kilmanjaro can be observed.
 
Ecoscience is completely independent as far as electricity is concerned. Everything is based on solar panels (electricity, hot water) with back-up generators, and thanks to our geo-electric prospections, we were able to find the water well(water at a depth of 150m) we needed in this very dry savanna- a rare item.
